sfd partners with innovative lighting brand Tagra to create its 2017 stand at the Retail Design Expo in London

Tagra Lights Up RDE.

sfd has a longstanding relationship with Tagra, the innovative LED lighting specialists, collaborating on many interior and window projects, most recently Harrods’ Christmas grotto last year. A few months later, Tagra approached sfd to design its stand at the 2017 Retail Design Expo, turning the focus on the Manchester-based brand that is more used to helping the likes of New Look, Harrods and Next look good with clever lighting features. sfd partners with innovative lighting brand Tagra to create its 2017 stand at the Retail Design Expo in London

Despite Tagra’s vast array of lighting solutions and products on offer, the design focused on just one category – LED tape lighting – allowing an impactful display that didn’t overwhelm the visitors to the stand and invited discussion about the wider range that Tagra offers.

This was created with a mirrored stand interior that incorporated a geometric design of lighting that extended across the walls and floor, the mirror creating the illusion of a much larger space and expanse of light through its infinitude illusion. The simple matte black exterior contrasted the bright interest of the interior which created curiosity to enter. Once inside, the visitor could see the product up close, speak to Tagra’s representatives and take away tear-off postcards with details and photos of the brand’s projects and products. Takeaway materials, such as tote bags, were also created by sfd for a complete Tagra-branded experience.
