Missguided Goes Wild.
Adopting the rebellious attitude of the brand, Nude created 34 brand new mannequin poses for Missguided’s first store. Opening its first physical store last year, a 20,000 sq ft space in Stratford’s monolithic Westfield shopping centre, fashion etailer Missguided chose Nude for their adventurous mannequin project. Determined to make a bang with the store, which is the first in a nationwide rollout that will bring the phenomenally successful online womenswear retailer to new crowds on the high street, Missguided used their usual brand of tongue-in-cheek attitude. But this time mannequins replaced the e-comm models.
Working very closely with the creative team at Missguided, the poses were developed complete with two new exclusive heads, hand-painted to create stunning realistic looks. The mannequins were key in communicating the brand’s fun and rebellious attitude while looking as good in the clothes as the models do in Missguided’s shoots. The store used the mannequins in surprising and never-before-seen ways, impressive props adding to the drama and creating interactive and Instagram-worth installations.
