The LFW Beauty Destination.
Augmented reality app, MakeupPlus, will go from being a virtual destination to a reality at a first-of-its-kind pop-up during London Fashion Week. Partnering with Fashion & Beauty Monitor, the app’s real-life venue will take its cosmetic results out of iPhones and onto real faces.
MakeUpPlus takes selfie editing up a notch, with the ability to find new makeup looks to suit you or just to give your look a boost pre-upload without the need for the expense or knowledge of Photoshop, or going to the effort of actually picking up a makeup brush. Already a favourite with the Instagram generation, it is fitting that the pop-up will in Soho’s most Instagrammed Venue – Lights of Soho.
The member’s club and gallery is unmissable in its Brewer Street location, as its walls filled with neon lights emit their glow onto the narrow Soho street. Their exhibition space’s calendar is no stranger to Fashion Week events – as well as art, music, film and brand events – but this one is sure to use the flattering neon glow to full effect as guests enjoy the latest in beauty trends, free makeovers, makeup tutorials, celebrity talks, interactive mirrors, complimentary goodie bags and free wifi.
MakeUpPlus’s pop-up will be open to the public throughout London Fashion Week, 17-21 February 2017.
